Huawei Nova Y60 – General Information:
The Nova Y60 is a new entry-level smartphone from Huawei launched in South Africa in August of 2021. The model is based on MediaTek CPU and has triple camera lenses on the rear. From the front, the model comes in a 6.6-inches HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels, and mount a notch above the screen where the selfie camera is kept.
Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via SD card.
On the camera department, the Nova Y60 has three lenses on the rear; a 13-megapixel main snapper with f/1.8 aperture, 5-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 and a third 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. You also get a single LED flash on the rear, while an 8-megapixel selfie cam is kept on the front.
On the security wing, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in addition to FaceID and default Android locks. The phone support dual 4G LTE SIMs, has Bluetooth 5.1, powered by a 5000mAh battery and runs Google Android 10 without GMS out of the box.
